About Janet Herbert
JAN HERBERT is an accomplished interior designer, painter, and sculptor. She went to Cornish Institute in Seattle for 4years, and to Paris, France with a Cornish study group, where she studied at the Sorbonne Paris. Many of Jan's photos are from her world travels, to all corners of planet Earth. Her photographs were featured at a library exhibition in Sonoma County, California, and at the Doubletree Hotel in the same county.
Jan, takes the photographs of her husband for his book cover jackets, including the recently published novels Recently, Jan and Brian also published their own fantasy novel, OCEAN. Jan has always loved the sea and its marine animals. One day she came back to their home after snorkeling and swimming in the waters of Hawaii, and suggested a book idea to Brian. "What if the ocean declared war against humankind?" Jan asked. The two of them began brainstorming, and came up with a highly original novel in which dangerous sea creatures keep people and boats out of the water. The sea creatures even hurl mankind's floating plastic and other garbage back up on the beaches, forcing humans to clean up their own messes!
